Thanks for the welcome. I owned an '87 Cherokee back in college which I loved, and recently bought a used '99 Sport online. A few minor issues (it has +100,000 miles) but is in relatively great shape considering. Joined XJtalk because I will doubtlessly have issues that need addressing over time.

Thanks...I now have the spare attached and locked on top as well (though it makes for some extra rattle). It's my local and short-range daily driver. I'll post more pix after the next wash.
