OK... still working on the diamond tread. But I was reading another thread where (forgot the name) said that he left his out for the extra storage space.
Well, I like storage space!

I have stuff packed back there, too often to put speakers that low... in height ~ not range... that I'm working on a mount to put my speakers higher up = above the windows.
* I think some of the newer XJ's or maybe fancy model XJ's had a stock mount like that.

ok I totally messed up and I wanted to have the other quote in a single reply but I wanted to say
1-This is a great idea, ill have to make due with both sides, maybe for tools or gas
2- is it made of aluminum? I suppose that is for the car?

Nifty. I keep a radio in that little cubby. I know some people who have a 8" sub there.
