yea the flare was already in need of repair from other trips but went on trail named "lock and unafraid" stuffed it pretty good so always time to think how to make it better

Looks like you could trim it quite a bit and put the flare back on

i was wondering that how much could go and still use the flare i was just straightened it as much a possible trim and put the flare back on

I would think about 1/4"-1/2" inside the mounting holes but never dealt with those before.
