Hi guys. My name is Mike. I live in Albuquerque NM. I bought my Silver 2001 XJ last month. She is bone stock with a little less than 95,000 miles on her. As far as plans to mod go I probably had 10k dollars spent in my head before I even got home LoL. Now I don't have that kind of money so will just have to take it slow. I do want to make sure everything is mechanically sound before I start any mods.

That's a very good way to go about it. Making it safe and reliable should be the first thing on everyone's list, although that anxious, kid on Christmas feeling gets in the way sometimes. :D Welcome to xjtalk and the addiction that is Jeep.

I did a good job not going crazy modding my 06 TJ. 31's winch and spacers to level the front, but for some reason I feel a little different with the new XJ.
