Hello, I just bought a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I live in North Florida and work in Law Enforcement. I have checked all over for a fuse diagram to no avail.

Hello and welcome! Which one are you looking for? Under the hood or inside the Jeep?

I think this is the correct one for the under-hood fuse box

The interior one for radio fuse passenger floor area box.

Hmm... I have a 97, but I bet they're the same. I'll go look in my manual and snap a pic real quick.

Ah, i think i realized your problem with finding one. The ones given are for a '98 Cherokee XJ, and you need one for a '98 Grand Cherokee ZJ. I'll see if i can find one for the ZJ.

Okay, i spent the last two hours searching. And i found squat! Lol. But i did find out the diagrahm should be on the inside of the fuse panel cover. If that's turns out to not be true, i would start going through all the fuses and checking them. I know, its not.much help but if you have a blown fuse you'll find it none the less. Sorry i couldn't be of more help.

I did however find something you may need in the future, figured i would pass it along. A 400 page catalog list of parts for your jeep. Its a pdf by the way. http://www.defstatic.com/Jeep-ZJ-1998-Grand-Cherokee-MOPAR-Parts-Catalog.pdf

Thanks, I think your personal manual may be correct I'm not sure. I spent the night using a test light on all the fuses and the fuses were good. I had a ground problem. I ran another wire for ground. Also, I'm still having radio reception problems. I changed the antenna to an amplified inside antenna that I bought at Auto Zone and the amplified part isn't working. I know bc the led power light which is located on the antenna isn't coming on.
ranted the amplified part isn't working
I was still getting the same 2 channels or less unless I drove 30 miles to the closest biggest city. 30 miles shouldn't stop me from receiving when the station is only 30 miles from me. So using process of elimination...I used a new antenna with new coax which was the inside amplified one I mentioned and still having reception issues (Granted the amplified part isn't working)

On a side note, The spell check is bc of the forum or b/c of my browser?? I'm seeing spell checker appear after I type if I type a misspelled word.

What is an xj and the other? PS nice cell phone pics...when I read your post I thought.. Yeah right like I'm going to be able to read a picture of manual that u took with a cell phone.

Now to fix the driver door which wont open from outside...so I currently have to do the famous "open the driver door from front passenger door", haha.

A "XJ" is an '84-'01 Cherokee and a "ZJ" is a '93-'98 Grand Cherokee. You have a ZJ.

Like this I think.. I don't have an owner's manual. And my repair manual doesn't list either to my knowledge.

with what??? Does the diagram above not match?

If not, not sure what to tell you. Go buy a manual for your ZJ. Googling for wiring diagrams will give you dreadful results. And nightmares. Trust me.

The one I posted is what my fuse box looks like which is in the passenger kick panel area. I already bought a repair manual.

Sorry, but you're saying a fuse won't let you open the door?

Maybe you mean unlock it...

I'm saying my interior fuse panel is located in the passenger kick panel for my 98 Jeep grand Cherokee (to the right of a passenger's feet) and I'm requesting the label for the fuse panel such as fuse 1 protects the radio, fuse 2 goes to the dome light.
