Well it's July long weekend it's time for the annual www.highriders.ca challenge!

I have been going every year since 2006; this year I won't be going :( With the new baby and the flooding in Calgary (I was not effected) have caused havoc at work we have been open since last Friday for relief efforts

But the Jeep is thankfully going! It left this afternoon and my Friend Pat will be piloting it. Sadly though this will its weekend ; the old girl is getting retired and its drive train will end up In a Comanche.

So it's all blinged up for its last horrah! It will pain me to take it apart as. Have had it for 10 years and built it from a $200 police salvage auction truck to what it is today,..

Here is the bling and testing the suspension for the last weekend racing

No all parts will be transferred to the MJ project

Sad to see it go, but at least the parts will live on in another Jeep!

Any plans for the ceremony? Are you cremating or compacting the remains? Such a cool Jeep to pass away.

Sucks to see the old XJ go... But you will def need to paint the MJ orange to continue on the old rig!! Just got done doing all that work on the XJ, just to tear her down?!! Can't wait to see what the MJ comes out looking like after building it up...

I dunno whether to call my dog a "jeep" ... or your jeep a "dog" .. :confused:

Since they both have the same leg lifting habit - when they get near a telegraph pole .. :D:D

Well, i can't say as i'm not saddened by this news. But i'm sure you have good reasons. Hope the body gets passed on to have a new drivetrain to continue on.

Show em what its made of on that last run!

He literally drove the wheels off it,..

Broke the studs on the 9" axle and pulled the spindle assembly on the 44 apart

I was very proud of him

So what does this mean for the maybe less tech savvy? If I google XJTalk it will appear? Facebook? Twitter?

If you look towards top of the page you'll see a row of icons. Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc... If you click on one of those icons it will take you to the various social media pages for xjtalk.
