At $79 they're a bit more expensive compared to the import steel d-ring inserts, and they don't come with a d-ring, but they're about 1/4 the weight of a steel insert - and you can get them in the same colors as the ProLink. Granted, we're only talking about ~2 lbs vs ~8 lbs, but if/when you've got to lug around a recovery bag, those little weight savings add up. I'm thinking of grabbing a red one to go with my red XJ. :D

If anyone's interested in doing a combo pack with a Prolink & a Hitchlink, I'll make ya a good deal. :driving:

Just saw these, I'll have to post a pic, never saw these before, but a machinist buddy and I whipped up something similar for the Explorer before we went to Moab. Nice!!
