My best friend is coming into town next week so I figured it'd be the perfect opportunity to finally take my little jeep out for some proper wheeling. I'm thinking of going to Creekside on Sunday 6/30. Anyone interested in meeting up for a little dirty fun?

After resolving my running hot issue, I've been talking to Matt about going, but I need to get my transfer case skid back on first. Actually we were talking about going to that park in Crosby, crap, can't remember the name.

I've never been to Down South. Matt says I'll like it there. I told him I should as that's the area I grew up in. :D I need to go so I can shoot more video and finish up the off road video I started at Creekside the day I met you and Jen.

Enjoying it as we speak! Only have limited wifi in places, and no cell service. luckily I can use my phone without the sim card in it.

I know ya'll are wanting to go to creekside that weekend, and im down for that. But I'd like to get a group together to go to Texas Offroad Ranch in Huntsville on a weekend as well. Looking at their pics it looks like the trails are pretty darn cool.

Did that use to be General Sams? Or is there two in huntsville now? Either way, i love the pics. Finally some rocks! And some good lookin trails, not just mud. Makes me want to get the jeep ready even more. Didn't know that was possible...

I think we're pretty flexible on the location. I only suggested Creekside because it's the only place nearby that I know of (other than the place in Spring that closed) I love the Huntsville area, TOR looks like a heck of a lot of fun to me!

Well, I would love to join yall but im going on a fishing trip this weekend. However my 96 is FINALLY 4x4 capable again and a couple of us are planning at trip to Hidden Falls Offroad in Marble Falls, TX for wheeling on July 6th. Come one come all... Place is awesome

a big thanks to Zerin for taking some awesome pictures! We hooked up with some JK enthusiasts while we were there. We had a great time, but I think we would have had more fun if some of our XJ buddies from the forum had made it too. :)

No big deal, we had fun and that's what I bought the Jeep for. We'll be going again and again, I'll throw the invite out every time. I'm sure things will eventually line up and then we'll all have a blast together! :)

Bare minimum i need my frame stiffeners welded on, cooling system working better (thinking of changing the water pump), trans cooler hooked up, rear brakes, and i think the a/c working would make it much more enjoyable. I know i don't HAVE to have that stuff done before but to my peace of mind it feels needed for the first real offroad trip in a WHILE.

Sorry i couldn't be there Tim, was 1k miles away anyway.

Lol, not when she has a 2 year old and 3 month old with her.... that is NOT a fun wheeling trip!
