Saturday I took my daughter Allison to the gun range since it was Take Your Daughter to the Range day. She had never shot a weapon before so I wanted to teach her properly. She used a Glock 23, 40 caliber. We set the target at 8 yards since she had never shot before. First shot hit just outside the bull-eye at the 10 o'clock. Second shot was dead center to the bulls-eye. Third shot was just outside the bulls-eye at about the 5 o'clock. Then she started closing her eyes when she pulled the trigger and as you can see her shots went everywhere. Over all I think she did great for the for time at the range!
Since she is a linguistics major in college, where she is fluent in French, almost fluent in Japanese and learning Russian. (notice her shirt has Russian on it), I just hope she does not get recruited by some clandestine government organization. She left for Japan the next day, Sunday as an exchange student with Baylor.
