Well a little back story. When I bought my jeep 4x4 my brother said I would never use the four wheel drive. Well he came into town today so I took him off roading and everything was going great I made it through everything. We were on the way out because it started raining again and this is the only way out of here and I drive on this trail every time I go back there. Anyway it has been raining for 13 days and I guess the ground was saturated and the ground just gave way. My front sway bar was still on and the back drive tire was off the ground. We quickly got out my brother and I stood on the back bumper and it put the back tire on the ground. If the front sway bar was unhooked it would have backed out with no prob.

I didn't take these pictures my sister in law took them I was busy tripping out.:pray::bang::oops:

I'm in the blue shirt freaking out.

That is part of the fun. Making improvements after situations like that so it is a cake walk next time

After we got out I had to walk around for about 5 min, I was shaking. I was only going 5 but I thought I hit a tree, the good news is the bumper fits better and there is no damage. My brother was laughing himself to tears at the face I made when we hit. There are no alignment issues heck there isn't even any mud or sand on it.

Yep, always a heart-stopper that first time you do something! Just like the first time you get pulled over... after the 30th time or so it's just annoying :D I don't know that from experience though... lol

Yeah, it will get to where you won't even think twice about it unless it makes horrible noises or won't move

Even if the only upgrade I had was quick disconnects for the sway bar I could have unhooked it and had the rear wheel sit back down and just driven out of that hole.

luckily since most jeeps down here are heavily modified I can get some bumpers rock sliders and lockers from the local junk yard for only about a quarter of the cost. but I would rather not have a junk yard lift kit at least the zone lift kit will come with a lifetime warranty.

Good luck finding lockers in a JY. But you can get Aussie Lockers for $250 rear and $225 front, shipping included. A good price
