Pretty cool but I don't think it's going to work with my 10" .... deep offset wheels.

It is an old concept. But they have made improvements with that lug nut thing. Much more convenient than before

seen that before I'll take a winch over that any day

X 2.

Was definitely, a useful bit of kit in the days before cheap winches tho. ;)

I like the front wheel guides ... as it gives a bit more, front wheel turning clearance, than the shackles in the ends of the front bar like I had on a coupla vehicles.

Its a bit like a Tirfor hand winch tho ... Need lotsa storage space for all the components ...

.... and the modern day price of that old school idea is a bit scary .. :D

The duct tape is missing and I didn't see any possums!

Great little item these lol ;)

and hey even I can use them!

I can't see it being of much use to me, there is to much rock where I am unless they can be tied to trees

That's hilarious. You're probably a better wrench than he is...certainly than I am.

That's also the exact place where my wife quit watching.

When I moved into my old place the first thing I did was rent a 1 man / woman auger drill two 4' holes dropped in 4"x4" posted mixed up concrete and poured it in. All so my ex could have her hammock in the yard! Lol

Oh yeah, augers. I rented a power auger with a 12" auger on it thinking I would just go out there and make holes. Nobody told me you take little bites with this thing. Screwed it right into the ground and no reverse. Got to dig that one out the hard way. Only had 119 more holes to go

Those are too much work. I use the kind that hooks to the three point and PTO on my tractor! I just have to lower a lever from the seat. Now, the fence building? that part stinks every time, so I try not to do any more than I absolutely have to!!
