Well its a 98 Cherokee Sport with 187,000 miles on it. I picked it up for $700. Had to put a new high pressure steering line on it as it would spray the side of the engine if I went full lock to either side (what a mess it made on the engine), replaced the exhaust cat, muffler and tail pipe. the PO only replaced one rotor and one pad set so I had to replace the other rotor and a new set of pads. Passenger side window regulator was shot, got a used one on eBay. Picked up a set of Definity MTs 235/75R15 with stock rims on Craigslist for $200 with more than 75% tread left. Got an exhaust leak at the manifold. Going to get a APN exhaust manifold at some point and probably replace the motor mounts at the same time. Currently looking to piece together a lift on the cheap. Picked up some 3" RC coils and LCAs on Craigslist for $50. got a used RE1600 trackbar with a new heim joint for $40 on CL too. Just have not decided on what to do with the rear suspension as far as new leafs or a bastard pack.

Sounds like you are on your way already. Bastard packs are cheap and work well
