Favorite year of the Cherokee?

I know I have posted a lot but it's what I do. What is your favorite year of the cherokee?

I like the 95 and older. Dont like OBD2, dont like the newer front end, and i actually prefer the older interior. But like anybody else im gonna say the yr i own is the best........so 92

Well, mines a '92. So... :D

All in all. I do like the newer style, although a bit plastic-y inside. The '99 is the first year for the "horsh shoe" intake. Last year for high pinion front axle, distributor ignition, and before the dreaded "0331" head. So it is generally considered the best by some.

You will get mixed reviews, most think theirs is the best.

I just happen to like the split bumpers and the grill is the same color as the body, and the fact that it still has a distributor but also has an obd2 port.

I like the exterior of the 96 and down.. But I like the interior of the 97 and up.
Man do I miss cup holders!

I guess I should of been more specific. The 00-01 head cracking issue is the reason why I do not like my 01 and if I did the research before buying I would of got a 97-99. Plus, I havent seena 00-01 in 5spd but a few in 97-99 time frame.

I have a 2000; but if I researched it a little more I would have purchased a 1999 instead.

it looks like I really lucked out when I went to buy my Jeep I have the 99 Cherokee it looks like I got the best of the Cherokees
