Just wanted to share this with you guys.

https://www.facebook.com/TheRebuildingOfStomper

The Jeep survived an EF5 tornado and the owner used it to help rescue/save people. www.Cop4x4.com is going to rebuilt it, can't wait to see what they do for this hero.

Jeeps, like hammers and guns are just tools (yeah I went there!) This Jeep isn't special it's the man that it belongs to. He choose to move it out of the rubble and put it to work helping others. That's the story here, to me. Just like our Jeeps were built cookie cutter fashion and then later purchased, or given to us, what they are now are an extension of who we are. Our personalities on wheels, if you will.

You can't take it with you they say. What we do in this life we will take with us.

I think that is an awesome testament to how strong the Jeeps are, not to mention the great support the 4x4 companies are willing to put in to help this guy out and rebuild his Rubi that did so much for not only him but his community!! I will def look forward to seeing what this becomes once all is finished!!

From The Rebuilding of Stomper Facebook page.

Stomper: Daddy, Daddy! Where have you been! I missed you! Kraken: Sorry Son, I have been at Hubbard Auto Center teaching some Italians some manners, hanging out with some H1’s, and talking old school with some really nice vintage cars. Why are you crying son? You are a Rubicon for God’s sake, and Ruby’s don’t cry. Stomper: Just look at me, “sniffle sniffle”, my hood is busted, my doors and all banged up, and look at my rear end, I look horrible. The State Farm guy tried to throw me in the garbage! Kraken: Well son, I see that, but why don’t you tell me what happened. Stomper: Well, my owner, Bryan Hutton, and his son Ricky and me were having a perfectly good day in Oklahoma City. We had driven down to see his parents and the same house where he grew up, when the sirens went off and the sky’s grew dark. He parked me in the garage and I thought everything would be fine. Boy was I wrong. The wind started blowing, the house started shaking, then it just fell on top of me, burying me in the house, or what was left of it. Kraken: What did you do then? Stomper: Well, Bryan started me, locked my lockers, put me in 4 low, pushed in the clutch with a 2x4, told everybody to get out of the way, pulled the 2x4 off my clutch. Then I just bulldozed my way out of the house. He pulled everything off of me, and off we went. The devastation was unimaginable, but daddy, there were people that needed help, and being a jeep, we could drive over everything. We pulled a wall off of a family that a father was holding up with his back, we pulled debris off storm shelters so people could get out, and we spent the rest of the night and well into the morning taking injured people to the area where the ambulances were so they could get them to the hospitals. I was so happy I could help everybody. Then the next few days I just sat in the rain. Please don’t let them throw me away; I did the best I could. Kraken: Son, I am so proud of you. Ever since your mom went to jeep heaven after rolling over on the Rubicon Trail, its been just you and me. I know I could have been a better father, but right now I could not be more proud of you. You have not only made me the proudest father in the offroad world, your heroics have been noticed worldwide. You are not going to jeep heaven son, you are going to rebuilt by some of the finest companies and builders on the planet. Stomper: Rebuilt? I don’t understand, and where am I? Kraken: Son, you are in Mesa, Arizona, in one of the finest auto body shops in the United States, Called Kustom Koachworks. My builder, COP4x4, borrowed a truck and Trailer from a company called Airaid, drove 2200 miles to get you. He nearly died twice from Tornados during his trip, once in Amarillo, Texas, and then was 3 miles from another Tornado that was the largest on record. The jeep community opened their doors for him to stay in their homes during his trip, and now they have come together to supply parts for your rebuild. There’s even a facebook page called “The rebuilding of Stomper” dedicated to watching you get fixed. The list of all of the companies that have donated parts for your rebuild is right here in this story. Stomper: So I am not going to jeep heaven? Kraken: No son, you are going to SEMA. Stomper: Well, that’s good I think? I just want to go on another 2 month trip with my family like we did before Bryans wife, Brenda, went to Afghanistan. You know shes in the Airforce, right. Kraken: Yes, I do and Bryan is Ex Army as well. You could not have found a better family to join little buddy. Stomper: Daddy, are you going to stay with me while they work on me? Kraken: No son, I am headed to South Florida to help a company called Seward Offroad sell some lights, but I will check this thread and be rooting for you. Everything is fine. You have brought the offroad community together, giving them something to look forward to, and restored their faith in humanity. You are the little jeep that could, and they, as a group, are going to build you into something spectacular. Stomper: Well, I am not sure what that means, but if you are ok with it, so am I. Thanks Daddy for coming and checking on me. I guess if I can survive a Tornado, I can survive whatever they are going to do to me. One more question, is it going to hurt? Kraken: Pain is good son, pain is good.

Stomper: JKL, I missed you. Thanks for coming to see me. JKL: No problem little brother. Dad says you were in a bad storm and after the storm passed you helped saved some humans, is that true? Stomper: Well, human people are calling me a hero, but chopping me apart is not much of a thanks, unless I am missing something! They have parts of me scattered all over this dam garage! JKL: Hah! Relax little bro, these guys built me as well as dad, they know their way around a jeep, trust me on this one. I know this is not a lot of fun little buddy, but I am proud of you for what you did. You are an inspiration to jeeps of all ages, sizes and colors. But I have to ask you this: How in the world did you get SEMA to give you a free spot in the lobby of the South Hall, or even better, you get to go meet Courtney on PowerBlockTV? Stomper: I don't know who Sema is nor do I know Mr Powerblock TV, but I do know this. My Owners have promised me that we are going on a trip, Brenda, Bryan and Little Ricky, and big brother, that's all that's keeping me going right now. JKL: Got it Stomper. Hang in their buddy, this will be over soon enough.

We need to see the VIN so we can verify that it is the same Jeep. As stated it looks entirely different.

Unless there is a VIN on the frame I dont think you will be able to tell. I saw the tear down its there was only a frame left.
