Hi silver_xj, :welcome: to the :xjtalk: forum!

We would love to know more about you and your Jeep. How you found us, etc...

Be sure and check out our XJ TALK SHOW! (http://podcasts.xjtalk.com) It\'s about Cherokees! It\'s like a radio talk show, but from the Internet.

Check out our sister sites, http://www.WranglerTalk.com/ and http://www.di-dah-dit.com/

This is kinda cool. I didn't have to start a post for myself. Any who, I'm new to Jeep Cherokees but not new to Jeeps. My last Jeep was a 91 Wrangler back around 1999. My XJ is a 2000 Classic model and is stock with the exception of a K&N CAI and a Magnaflow cat back. Both of which were previously installed on my new to me XJ. I came across this forum via a Google search and decided to join as there is some very useful stickies that are not on the other site that I joined. My plans for the XJ are to fix the little maintenance things and lift up Buddy, (tentative name for my XJ). I'm really having a heck of a time deciding between the RE 3.5 super ride kit and a Zone 4.5 kit. Getting full leaf packs either way as mine are flat. I'm located in Austin Texas and plan to visit Hidden Falls Adventure Park in the very near future. If there is anything else you want to know or would like to share some knowledge over busted knuckles and cold beverages, just ask.

All that sounds great. We just need pictures now! :D

Just remember that we love pictures and posts. Be sure to ask anything that comes to mind. One way we try to be different here is we don't abuse people for asking questions.

:welcome: to :xjtalk:

Welcome to the site, and to Cherokees. The members here will keep you coming back, lots of knowledge and always willing to help.

I personally have a R.E. lift, albeit a 4.5", i'll tell you its good quality. Had the lift 8 years and every part is still on my jeep performing same as new. But, i don't drive it a ton either. Heard good of Zone as well; but no personal experience.

Glad to have ya here, check it out. Tony (^ look up ^) is the creator of the site and has built it with many features absent from the "other" forums. Cool features too. The site even has its own podcast if you would like to give it a listen.
