Howdy!
I came across XJTalk by just browsing for info about
my latest vehicle purchase, my 97 XJ SE.
Right now she's bone stock, with the only mod so far being a
cowl induction snorkel I built out of PVC. The NJ pine barrens have some deep
water holes, so I figured until I can put a lift on her, at least I won't be enjoying any hydro lock. HAHA! Plans are a 3" RC lift, Safari rack, winch eventually. I probably won't go crazy with the mods, since she's my commuter as well.

:welcome: to :xjtalk: from Delaware!! The Pine Barrens are pretty good time... but yeah I agree the water spots can be quite a challenge to keeping your vehicle going... One of the pics I saw when I first looked them up before a group of us headed up about three years back was this one:
