Butchered XJ in NY

This is a link to a thread over on another site. This guys XJ had so definate ghettofab work done. If you live in NY near Oneonta you may know what shop this job was done at.

Have a look, this guy is getting the shaft...

Ouch, that guy is in a real pickle. I wouldn't think that Jeep is "safe" to drive, and that alone will give his argument some leverage. However, I doubt that he will get away without paying the offending shop some comphensation. Very difficult situation for sure, and cannot foresee this staying out of a courtroom or at least some form of litigation. I never want to be in a situation like that... it's rarely a stress-free ordeal. Some shops honor integrity and will fix the issues and eat the cost, but some will fight tooth and nail to avoid responsibility.

I had just read through that whole thing and left my advice. Situations like this really suck, especially for someone like him. I've had some bad dealings with shops, he's in for a battle.
