Anyone else have issues with rear shock bolts? I broke all four of them and had to drill and tap them.

It is common, especially in the rust belt

Broke all four on the rear and all four on the front and coil spring bolts too LOL! I cut little holes in my rear cargo floor and used a bolt extractor and torch for heat they come right out. Now I have access to them next time under the carpet

I didn't take pics at the time, just cut 4 holes above the shock bolts with a 1 inch hole saw drill bit. Used a bolt extractor kit and a buddy heating up the broke bolts from underneath and me with a wrench taking them out from inside, when its done you can get some rubber plugs to hide the holes too

I get all embarrassed sometimes .... seeing the difficulties others have with the things ... when I only need a 1/4" drive, socket and ratchet .. :o

At least you'll have extra floor drains! I think that is the same size as the floor drains back there all ready, remember to prim and seal and paint to avoid more rust! At least for a little while. I bet if you go to the j/y you could fined the drain plugs in an xj or other jeep and they would fit right in those holes (If plugging them is something you are interested in doing)
