Hello everyone, got my lift in from RC and have came acroos lots of issues. My main question for everyone is that when driving it seems that my XJ will kinda shift from side to side. Is this normal when going from stock to 33 in tires? I do have sway bars disc. at this time but does it both ways. Only thing I have found that is a concern to me is track bar. There is play in the bolt hole like the bolt is not big enough. will this cause this issue? Thanks

It should not shift side to side no matter what lift you have. Seems like the hole in track bar mount might be worn out. Either that or the nut on the trackbar is not tight enough.

Ya I do believe track bar is where the problem is. RC kit is new and it is my first install that I have done. Should not be worn out but defintley moves back and forth maybe a 1/16 to 1/8 and I figured it should be snug in there. I will put a larger bolt in there and give it a go.

Does the track bar have movement on the axle end or the "frame" end?

Yeah I'd def say if you can throw a larger bolt in there... and you'll probably have to add a new nut as the nutsert already there will be too small... Seems a bit odd though, unless someone prior to you had installed the wrong bolt or something!!

They said to replace bold with one supplied in kit and the new nut was just regular not a insert so made for a pain when tightening up. I will look into it further in the morning and see if it would be better to just put old one in.

Well its pretty rare for that end to wear out, but possible. But yeah you can put in a larger bolt, but sure is gonna be a PITA to put a nut back there.
