I bought this little 12 volt compressor, just after Jeep week in Moab. The TJM rep was there and these sounded pretty good. And it cost $109. with free shipping. I haven't had a chance to use it yet though, I will report back and let you know how well it does. It comes with a 5 year warranty too. Has anyone ever used one of these? It looks good, I guess we'll see. Oh it is about 2.6cfm and I think you can run it for about 1/2 hour before it needs to cool.

I hope the $109 TJM compressor you bought ... is not the one - they want $220 for down here.

... and they wonder why so many of us shop overseas.

If they are the same ...
Its supposed to be a good little performer according to this ... http://www.4wdaction.com.au/sites/default/files/4WD169%20036-054%20FEATURE%20air_2.pdf

Wow, I think it is the same compressor, it is identical to the one in the TJM catalog from Australia. I didn't know things were so expensive there. What do you pay for a liter of gasoline or petrol there? Thanks

Sit down in a comfy chair, take a deep breath ......

:D

I only use 95 ron unleaded ... so $ 1.60 per litre ... as an average.
I think 95ron here - is about 92ron U.S.

Useless ethanol mixes are a bit cheaper.

So .... about $6 per U.S. gal .. :bang:

Holy crap!! I just gave $3.17 for 100% gas with no ethanol in it last night. Wow

Well, I finally got a chance to air up a 33" tire with this compressor and from 10psi up to 32psi took less than 5 minutes so I'm pleased with the performance, and it has a long enough hose to reach all the tires. And at $109, I think it is reasonably priced.
