Lighter gas tank skid plate ..

Howdy guys: I am looking for a lighter gas tank skid plate. I have looked at the top 3 and they are all about 65-68 lbs. Anyone know of a lighter one ?
I am NOT going to go Rock Crawling with this 2000 XJ. That is what I have
my 1995 YJ for ....
Also looking for a transfer case skid.

Any aftermarket gas tank skid is going to be heavier than the factory skid, or they couldn't sell them. The factory skid is lighter I believe. You could try that.

I have a 2000 and my tank is plastic and the skid plate is lighter than after market but still strongenuf you can put a jack in the center and lift the back wheels off the ground.
will it hold up to dropping down onto a sharp rock who knows.
