Are you looking to be able to update your 1997 and up Cherokee gauge cluster? Looking to have a custom lighting scheme? Looking for something that is easier to read in low light?

Our custom made and meticulously designed inserts feature a 3.5 layer solution that meets and exceeds OEM quality. While more difficult to install at home, they offer the best and most stylish update you can find on the market for these hard to work with clusters.

Our Instrument Upgrade Kit is printed via a 12 color process onto quality outdoor capable materials. It is then cold laminated and CNC cut to provide a great fit every time. We then add in a light blocking layer, so light only comes through where needed, and then a diffuser layer to help eliminate hot spots caused by overpowered bulbs and LED units.

$35 plus priority or overnight shipping (your choice).

Custom graphics , from adding a background to a full on custom design will have an artwork fee, depending on the complexity of the job. We do bulk orders, if you wish to order for a club.

Email is [email protected] , pm me, or visit the website: www.AzzysDesignWorks.com (http://www.AzzysDesignWorks.com)

FAQ

Q: What is diferent beween style 1 and 2?
A: Just graphics. Style 1 is based off our first and most popular sets, set 2 is a bit more of a refined cluster face.
Q:_Do I have to remove the needles?
A: Yes, in order to replace the stock gauge face, which block most of the light in the dash, the needles need to be removed. It is not an easy project, but not impossible either. See our video instructions on how to do it.
Q: Can I get a custom color or pattern?
A: Sure can. We would like to let you know that ADW will not use official licensed patterns, without permission of the original artist. An additional charge may be applied do to test printing and the time it takes to make sure all the colors work when printed. Email us ([email protected]) for more info on this.
Q: Can I get custom text?
A: Yes, as long as it fits. Email us ([email protected]) for more info on this.
Q: Are these just printed on paper?
A: See above, they are printed on plastic, over-laminated with a cold process to preserve color, and then fitted with layers of similar material and Mylar.
Q: Do they glow?
A: Not yet. We are working on that. However, they do catch more light than the stock gauges do, and are easier to see in low light situations.

No prob, most forum software tends to mangle more than one video link..

Yeah the add on software doesn't like the youtube links with the minus sign in it. I'm still learning regular expressions. When I figure it out even these will work and display the video embedded in the post.

Sorry, was out of the office for a few days. To answer the questions...

Working on it :) One thing at a time at the moment.

Yes sir! I have not had a request yet for these ones in metric, but have shipped the others worldwide. Could you shoot a picture of yours? I need to make sure that everything is in the same place. I know for a fact that there is a sub panel for some of them that we do not have here (oil burner models, that is).

Got a few questions in email about how they look lit up, so here ya go:

Ive gotten a lot of requests for custom camo colors. I have a digital camo pattern that I have tweaked to allow us to apply any 4 colors to it. Right now we have a FDE and a blue urban camo requested on that pattern that have gone out.

Just a heads up, for those who have ordered the aircon panels, they have shipped. However, we did not do up instructions on it, and will follow up on them tomorrow. If you have not installed yet, you do not need to remove the factory adhesive. In fact, let it add to the adhesive strips already on the panel parts. That factory tape is a very, very strong and hard to work with material (and incidentally, the source of “new car smell”).

I did not know that... nice bit of trivia!

I did not know that... nice bit of trivia!

Specifically this line of adheasive: http://www.ellsworth.com/3m-9472le-adhesive-transfer-tape-1in-x-60yds/?gclid=CPj0sNa5ibcCFcJo4Aod_VsAsQ

We purchased a few 37" rolls of it for a project (cost about $3K for 2 rolls) and it was the first thing you could smell when working with it. My day job is working for a wayfinding and graphic design company, and while we dont make signage, we do tent to produce all of our maps and large signage in house. If you have been to a federal prison, the FBI headquarters, or the Library of Congress, you've seen my work.

Anyway, the stuff is tough. Sticks to everything. Without the right application tools, it is the worst graphics film to work with.

For those that are interested, we've updated the product line, and added 97-02 TJs as well.

That, and added a line of safety labels for those that keep safety items in their vehicle:

No, but I really should make one. I have a set of those that got pulled from my XJ before I got it on the road.

Probably before Bantam.

If you can email over a picture of your dash, info @ azzysdesignworks.com, I'll see if we have a pattern setup to match your needs.

All gauge set orders placed over the Memorial Day weekend will receive a free set of our safety stickers. This includes 97+ sets and 89-96 sets.

The print shop will be open Tuesday to fulfill all orders placed this weekend. Have a safe and thought filled weekend, don't forget to raise a glass to those that laid down the most.

had a bunch of issues in the shop, as out CNC machine had to be replaced. Its up and running, but after talking to the manufacturer... it looks to be great for running things slowly, but not for production runs as I need them in house.

So a new machine is coming Monday... its a BEAST! With that we can get orders out faster and do larger sticker runs. I may even dwell into do reproduction graphics for XJs... always thought some of the graphics available for the Wranglers were cool, and would love to see them on a Cherokee. (Think Honcho, Golden Eagle, Chief, that sort of thing)

Also, got in a WJ cluster to work with after Bantam! Will be similar to our 97+ line.

Speaking of 97+... there may be some changes on the way to make them look a bit better. As with any changes on the line so far, if you ordered in the past, I will ship out an upgrade either at cost or free... depends on how much changes. I try and support my base as well as possible.

Azzy

Yep, got the new machine calibrated and tested tonght. It is a beast, and we can pump out standard cluster kits that much faster. Custom ones will still take some time, as they are designed and printed singly, but this also opens us up to die cutting stickers.

If anyone is interested in getting a set fo stickers / decals printed and die cut, up to 24" in width (and maybe... 8 feet in length max) PM me and we can talk quotes.

Our first show (3rd Annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival) was pretty successful, and learned a lot about not only what people are looking for, but how the structure and layout of our online store needs to function.

The issue? We got too many custom pieces in stock! I'll be narrowing it down to a few standards, with custom options listed on the website. Since I have all of these ready to roll, I thought I would offer to a few forums a chance to purchase a set, with free shipping (Priority Mail, Con US).

Some of the patterns here will not be done again.

For the XJ:

Scottish tartan print (x2)
Swamp print, experimental print, no more made this year (x1)
Ice Digicam (x2)
Black w/Blue Fades (x1)
Jungle Digicam (x2)
Desert Digicam (x2)
Desert Digicam w/ blue fades (x2)
Standard Camo (x2)
Black w/ stencil lettering (x2)
Carbon fiber pattern (x1)

For the TJ:

Crocodile print (x1)
Leopard fur (x1)
Green Snake print (x1)
Zebra fur (x1)
Rattlesnake (x1)
Carbon pattern (x1)
Camo (x2)
Black, plain (x3)
Desert Digicam (x3)

I will update as they sell, first come, first serve. Email or PM works, I will send a paypal invoice, or you can paypal $32 to [email protected], make sure to include your address.

As soon as I get my hands on a gauge set for a week or so, I will have them out. JK gauges are hard to find, I think because they are vin matched.

I am working on cutting out a matching lower panel where the switches are for the rear defroster and such.

A full set of the HD will run $80 plus shipping. That gives you a matching gauge, AC panel, and a matching power / switch panel for the 97-01 XJs.

Lead time on these is about a week, I currently reserve time on a laser cutter / engraver in order to make these, each set takes a bit of time to paint, dry, engrave, cut, clean up, assemble and package.

Once we have our own laser in house (look for that kickstarter!) we will be able to get production runs up and get these out the door much faster.

Email me if you are interested. I will be taking orders soon as the lower panel pattern is finalized.
