Hey everyone I have been going through a bunch of things lately to try and figure out my strange Idling problem and I still haven't found it yet but! I was just at my buddy's place and I looked this up and though it could help or be of use to some of you in the future, so here it is :)

Just this week I had to install a new TPS.
The last month my XJ stalled 4 times.
The codes indicated that it was the TPS.
The TPS gave to much voltage my mechanic said.

My jeep isn't throwing any codes it's just bitchy right now and I haven't figured it out yet! I replaced mine to and it's running much better, but it still on occasion will stumble, loose power, idol really low and some times shut off! I thought maybe the computer needed to re learn or something, it's been like 3 days I think and it still hasn't stopped! CPS was done in the fall so I doubt it's that although it could be faulty so I'm going to check it again seeing as I have a spare :)

A wonky map sensor will cause all kind of idling / acceleration under 3k issues.
