I can live with it but if its cheap maybe i can get new
seats or something. If im gonna keep this vehicle for ten
more years then i would like to get some odds and ends fixed.

The heated seat doesnt work on the driver side either
and the wiring for it is broken so maybe we can fix two birds
with one stone.

I think one of the reasons these tears happen is the cushion starts loosing it's spring. You may consider recovering the front seats and build up or replace the seat cushion.

I don't mind replacing the seat cover. Where do I find a seat cover?

This normally happens to the driver's seat so if you go to a junk yard you may be able to find a passenger's seat in good condition. Take it off of it and use it to cover the driver's. Also the cushion is generally in better shape, on the passengers, so grab it as well.

Never bought one. I'll guess auto parts, or certainly online.

I would just install the new seat, less work lol
