Made my new crosmember today. Had my wisdom teeth out yesterday so with no work today i took advantage of it. I bought this jeep about a month ago. The front axle took a hit and bent all the brackets holding the control arms and all the steering components. I replaced the 231 Tcase. Instead of rebuilding stock i decided im going to build a longarm setup. Today i made a simple crossmember out of .25" C-chanel. After i get the arms built and set im going to cut the crossmember and make it removable without taking the arms off.

are you using 2"x4" c channel ? your t-case seems dropped a lot and how you tight your t-case mount ?

The t-case is in stock location. If you look in the center you can see the 4 studs for the mount poking thru. I made a spacer that bolts between the mount and the t-case to drop the mount low enough. Its 2"x6" channel
