Where to find a full kit to rebuild my turdy-5, just seals and bearings. Maybe a new crush sleave cuz I changed the yoke seal and may have over tightened, no tork wrench.

Randy's ring and pinion and Quadratec would be good sources

Thanks for the info, now to weigh the options. Rebuild it or let it go until I find something better. Exp. Dana 44 or 8.25. I don't have the tools to fit a 9" but would love to. I do like the non c-clip of the 35, and I don't plan on anything larger than a 33" tire so I am looking for direction.

A D35 will handle 33s. So any of the others will too. But the best thing would be a stock 8.25 with 29 spline axles

What about my lsd? Mine works great, has seen a few smokey burn outs of both the rear ( may have contributed to the bearing failure, lol). I would love to find an axle with the same but what tag do I look for or numbers stamped to know what I am getting? That and is it a direct bolt up or "some assembly required"? Again thanks everyone for the input..

Guessing that for the same money to do a rebuild of the 35 I can get a full assembly at the local pull-a-part may be better to get an upgrade. Still the question lies at hand, I have a rear 35 that works well, both tires grip. How can I fair the same with an upgrade??? Locker is out of the budget at this point, but may be in the near future.????????
