I was at the pick'n pull today 'browsing' for missing goodies.
Are all dashboards inter changeable from '88 - '97 ballpark?
Same with doors? I found d a nice set of newer doors with the single window (vs. the vent) and they want $50 each. If its just a bolt on, I'm sold.

Also found what looks like a new break master cylinder. But a referb at parts store is only like $25 / $30... so I'm leaning toward a warranty.

Thoughts / guidance appreciated

The newer doors aren't exactly bolt on. The latch pin is different, but the conversion has been done several times. Not sure on the details.

That's dashboards?
Do the other styles look different enough to tell they won't work?
Mine currently looks like a rat has been eating away at it for years now

@XJWheeler
Cool. I'll hold off till I find more details.
Thanks

The dash was redesigned in 96. Different HVAC and console. You can make the console fit sort of, but the dash is different as well as the instrument cluster. It may look the same, but the computer controls everything

Good deal. I'll watch for >96.
After my '69 blazer, I'm just stoaked to find parts

Doors can be done have to relocate the striker bolt. Would be a good time to do removable doors. Also with the newer doors, the arm rest gets in the way and you won't be able to open the glovebox all the way with the door closed.

So, where would I keep my gun and my flask??

Glove box is WAY to far away for either.
There's a flask mounting device that hooks just above the e-brake :beer: and a holster clip that can mount on the bottom of the dash, next to the steering wheel on the right side...

Or if there isn't, there should be!
