Thank you for the welcome. My name is Todd. I live in Oklahoma City. I often wheel at Big Red Offroad park, Frielings, Disney, and numerous other places.

I am also one of the admins for the Oklahoma Jeepers Facebook group and the co-founder and admin of the Oklahoma Unibody Jeepers Facebook group. I am also currently working with the current owner of Frielings 4x4 Park in Talahina, Oklahoma for a large event for the benefit for the park. This event will also be a memorial event for Weldon Frieling, the former owner and creator of the park, who passed away earlier this year.

Many people out here like to wheel on the river but I do not find it challenging enough, plus I do not like finding that occasional deep engine killing water hole. I prefer rocks, wooded trails, hills, and gully crawling. My father has a cabin 9 miles south of Creede, Colorado and I have been going out there all my life. I have wheeled most all of the trails in that area.

Here are the specs of my XJ:

I have owned it since 2006. I bought it bone stock. I have done most all the work myself.

Suspension:
RE 4.5" coils in the front with JKS ACOS spun down 2" to make 6.5" total
Rear 5 inch BDS leaf packs with TnT 1.5" U-bolt eliminator kit to total 6.5"
Doetsch shocks
Iron Rock Offroad long arms

Axles:
HP Dana 30 with Yukon 4.56 gears
C8.25" 29 spline with Yukon 4.56 gears and Aussie lunchbox locker

Steering and brakes:
Stock rear drums (About to be upgraded to ZJ discs)
WJ knuckle steering and brake swap using Akebono calipers with JKS drag link and tie rod. (About to be OTK...just waiting on my backordered RHD drag link end)

Protection:
Warn front bumper
C4x4 rear bumper
DPG Offroad belly skid
TnT steering box reinforcement kit

Engine:
bored .20 over
Comp cam
High flow oil pump
Double timing chain set
Head decked .20
Total Seal ceramicoated pistons with gapless rings
Throttle body spacer

Transfer case:
Stock NP231

Transmission:
Stock AW4

Exhaust:
2.5" with high flow Magnaflow cat and Flowmaster 40

Other mods:
Durango steering box
KC Daylighters
Iron Rock Offroad hack and tap SYE with front XJ driveshaft in the rear
35"x12.50"x15" BF Goodrich KM2s

Here are a few pictures of how it looks now:

This photo was taken after I won 3rd place in my class at a mud bog event. Around 30 vehicles entered. Only 4 rigs made it all the way through the mud pit. Mine made a full run on both runs.

This last photo was taken in Colorado in 2009. It is one of my favorite photos. This is when it was on a Rubicon Express 4.5" lift with 31x10.50x15 Truxs MTs

Welcome.. Is that a sun roof in the first pic? I don't think I ever seen one on a xj before. But I don't get out much either.

Yes, it has a power sunroof. It is a Webasto sunroof that was on it when I got it. I think they had it as a dealer option, not a factory option. It is nice to have on steep inclines. Helps keep me in view and communication with my spotter.

Thanks. It is in the Lake City/Creede area. A few hundred miles southwest of Cripple Creek.

Everyone has something to offer even if it's just a question, or a request for help. :welcome:
