New to this forum, was prodded by someone on FB to join up her and another forum Our stable currently has 2 XJs, a 96 which is my project Jeep, and a 2001 which is my wife's daily driver (with just over 100K on it).

Im well versed in keeping this 271,000 mile beast running and going in the snow belt. We've owned 1 other XJ (an 01 that was totaled with me in it), and I've helped get a few of them going again for friends.

having an XJ has also given me ideas, and spurred on my own business in order to make things that I wanted to buy, but was not fond of the offerings that you could commonly get on the market.

Welcome to xjtalk, Bryan. Always nice to have more vendors. :D Nice jeep ya got there, what's the specs on it?

Its a 96 with 271K on the clock. Picked it up 2 years ago for $500 after our 01 with 60K was totaled by a guy under the influence. Ive rebuilt just about everything on it minus the floors. Its got JCR DIY bumpers front and rear, 3" RC coils and LCAs up front, 2"OME spring in the rear w/ RC shackle relocation brackets.

Im fabbing up an old AMC tire carrier for it, just need to find time to get cutting into the rear quarter and mock up the bumper mounts.

And now I guess I have to stop using the pic of my Doc's Machine decal as my avatar, even though it suits my name so well.
