Thank you. Trust me xj talk is about to see alot of me on here. Ive never been a forum guy but times are changing. This is probually the best place to be for a xj enthusiest besides trail :)

You're in luck too! There's a TON of us in the Houston area on here! The site owner/admin is actually in Katy, TX. Bunch of us are going up to Creekside on Saturday for their "Muddy" Gras, you gonna make it up there? What part of Houston are you in?

I actually live in laporte tx down by the ship channel. But yea im definatly gona try to make it to muddy gras. My jeep is all stock right now. But not for long. My last xj build was a 92 with a 11 inch lift on 36" tires. I wana go 40"s on this one with hydraulic steering. By the way guys thanx for the replys. Im definatly gona need some help with this build. Ive got my motor torn down right now but she should be up and running in the next week. Damn head gasket haha.

Ive tried and tried to upload photos from my phone. Not happening so ive gota do it from a computer when i get the chance. But like i said nothin special. Just a stock 97xj

Just dropped my head and intake manifold off at the shop. Getting it acid washed so i can throw it all back together this week.

Did you check the heads' mounting surface?

Yea it was warped. Got it machined and good to go now. Check out the pics
