Yes, put these together and you'd have one hell of a vehicle.
The 89 is REALLY nice and has a clear title. Only problem is that it doesn't have a drivetrain or header panel. Was originally a AW4, NP231, 4.0L Jeep. A hair over 200k miles.

The 96 is beat up but runs awesome. Had been sitting a while so took some coaxing to get started, but now that it is going it runs pretty great. It is a 2wd, 5-spd, 4.0L. Has a new clutch in it but will need a slave cylinder very shortly. I haven't driven it other than slowly around the neighborhood and onto the trailer. Has a salvage title, but has been repaired. The driver's door doesn't latch right. It is also filthy inside. Picture is attached, will post more tonight.
$1500 takes both of them as-is. If you have a transmission and t-case you can make one hell of a nice Jeep out of these two. OR I can sell you both Jeeps and a good AW4/NP231 and all you'll need is driveshafts. If you want all of this $1750 is the price.
I am firm on this price, it is a good deal for these two. Otherwise I'll part out the 89 and hot rod the 96.
