How long have you owned your XJ and what parts have you replaced (not due to damanges obtained off road).

I have had my XJ for 5yrs (?) and approx 60K miles.

So far I have replaced:
Power steering pump
Ignition Coil
CPS (was not broke and didn't fix the problem I was having, but replaced anyways)
All tie rod ends
Track bar
Headlights
Alternator
Water pump

Radiator will be in the very near future.

I didn't think it was too bad for a 20yr old vehicle. Not telling if/when those parts were replaced previously... The front steering was problem the most expensive "item".

It is easier to list what I haven't replaced. So far everything except the stock axles, although some parts in them and the unibody

damn you Prerunner1982 .. :P

I was only thinking the other day ... how the l'il wagon has passed five or six yearly inspections without needing repairs ..

This morning Ive been remembering things like exhaust manifolds, welch plugs, rear main seal ... and that annoying dvrs power window switch ... done between inspections ...

and a bunch of other general wear & tear stuff .. .. :D

Had Stormy for oh, almost nine years. Been pretty blessed so far. Hard to remember everything though, and some of this is purely an upgrade while some others are repairs turned upgrades. :D

Repairs:
Radiator (twice)
Thermostat (twice)
Upper (twice) and lower (once) radiator hoses
Heater hose
Thermostat housing
Fan clutch
Optima blue top (twice)
Calipers (twice)
Front right hard brake line
Power steering pressure line
Front sway bar swapped for one from an '89 sport (original rusted)
Rear bumper swapped for one from the same '89 (original smashed)
Defroster vacuum actuator (that it was the problem, wasn't)
Driving lights on bumper (old ones didn't work)
Power antenna (old one didn't work and was bent up in hurricane, new one still doesn't work, must have another problem)
Catback (original was rusted)
Right tail light (original was smashed)
Both tail lights (Jeep 2500 versions, gift)
Headlights (old ones started fogging up inside, got Silverstars)
Steering stabilizer (for a Rancho unit)
Firepower ignition kit (coil, plugs, wires, rotor)

Suspension (well, my stock leaf springs were sagging :D )
Front bumper mounts swapped for tow hook versions
Almost all bulbs for LEDs
Front turn signal housing (custom LED project)
Right front fender flare

It doesn't get driven a lot, or i know this list would be a LOT longer.

Luck must be on my side. With all the XJ's in the family, I have changed some parts(like ss exhaust on all the jeeps). The only part so far That I have had to replace because the old one went bad was a power steering pump on the son's 01.
