Headlight issues

I have a 1996 Grand Cherokee (obviously) but when i hit the high beams my left light gets bright but the right stays dim. any ideas as to the problem or solutions?

Hi Matt. Welcome to the group. Question, does it change elements on the dim side or not change at all. Might have to watch this at night while someone hits the brights

I agree with Steve's assessment. When that happens it is usually one fillament has broken.
