Great site!! Not a current Jeep owner, but I've owned 2 Wranglers in the past.

I'm hoping to get a late 90's/early 2000's Cherokee Sport 4wd sometime in the future. Mainly be used for some commuting and easy offroading with my wife and 2 girls.

Welcome to the family, Shannon. The '00-01s are known for having a few issues. The crack prone "0331" cylinder head (on some), expensive to replace distributor-less ignition, and weaker low pinion front axle (also on some). The '99 is sometimes referred to as the best year to have because its prior to those changes and has the better flowing "horseshoe" intake manifold.
