The wheel has been at about 10 o clock since i have had it. The first thing i did when i got home from getting it was threw it up on the alignment rack and found the adjustment is maxed out, the two rods touch in the sleeve. It is lifted 4.5 inches is there a wrong part in it any suggestions

Try turning the drag link back the other way till the wheel comes back center

if i go the other way with it till straight i loose the ability to turn left i know i tried it. i have an adjustable drag link and assume i should not move the adjustment any and dont even know if that would help i can look threw the paper work and find the part number for the drag link to show you and maybe tell me if it is right

Is your track bar adjusted properly. Axle centered?

well i am not exactly sure would assume so i know i have not changed anything since i have had it and the previous owner seem to do things right so what do i need to do to give you a definite answer

Measure how far the tires stick out on both sides of the rig

I've been told for telling if you trac bar is adjusted properly and axle is centered is to get your tires as straight as you can.. then measure from the "frame" to the inside of your tires on each side, and adjust until they are pretty much the same measurement... I am actually getting ready to adjust my drag link to center my steering wheel back up.. as it is also at the 10 position... but wasnt' that way after installing the lift and such, it has just been working itself that way over the last two years or so.. checked the distance like mentioned above in my post... and they were already the same... and everything looked straight and not bent... so going to adjust the drag link to get mine centered back up...

In theory yes. But something is not right. Is there a spacer between the box and frame? When the wheels are straight is the pitman arm aligned along the long axis of the vehicle or off to one side. There are a number of things to check here

Is it possible the pitman arm is clocked to the wrong position, if i remember correctly the pitman can go on in 4 different positions, so it could be 45 Deg out. if so that would explain why you cant adjust it anymore in the one direction. and reclocking it will allow you to back off that adjustment so that the two rods don't touch anymore.

does this make sense to anyone else? is it friday yet???

well i will take some pics on sunday and measure, i thought the pitman arm was keyed for one spot but maybe not the case

You can clock it 90° to either side

well i have equal turning left to right, but i it could be wrong anything is possible i know it is hard to diag over the computer so if i get measurements and pics anything else i should do to help the process

well i think i got it figured out i put it on the alignment rack and took a laser level from the hub and looked where it was on the back axle. Looked to be off center and my thrust angle was off so i adjusted the trac bar till the thrust angle was perfect and the laser level was equal from side to side then it gave room to adjust the steer ahead

thats what i thought so hopefully no other problems if i am not suppose to move the trac bar that much. it took the steering wheel from 10 oclock to 3 o clock. still have a pull to the left but thinking its the tires so maybe i wll rotate them to see if it goes away
