I recently done the Zj rear disc swap on my 94 xj non ABS, its done good till about a month ago now I'm having problems keeping a firm petal I been having to bleed them every two weeks since the last master cly. Change I thought it went out but apparently its just loosing it's pressure in the system I have no leaks I can find unless its going in the booster,, my question is should I have to use the Zj proportioning valve? I read a few Wright up said on the pre 95s back it didn't need it? Or is that BS? I'm tired of loosing my brakes every two weeks I'm about to put my drums back on

Might want to check that booster. If the O ring goes out on the master, it will leak a little, but more importantly it can suck air

You think the booster is bad?

I have a 96up master I'm waiting to put on but have to get a 96up booster for it to bolt on I may just hold out till I get the booster and hope that works

It is not the booster, but the master I suspect as being bad

I have done this swap and I'm currently running the XJ proportioning valve. I have a real firm pedal. I would look at your master cly for a internal leak
