This accident originally took place back in August/September 2007 time frame.
For years I have been wanting to lift my Jeep and put bigger, more aggressive tires on it.
I recently decided to do it, but I was going to hold off for a few months before I did it.
I needed to buy 2 new rear tires, but I didn't want to spend the money and wait another 2 years before the lift and the bigger tires.
Ok that was TWO bad decisions.
1. Waiting to do the lift
2. Not buying the 2 new tires.
Here is the result of those decisions. Oh! My wife would like for me to
point out that there was a third bad decision, driving too fast in the rain.
:P

Here is the wall I hit. I ended up just shy of that overpass.

Jeep crunch. Resulted from impacting a wall at the 270 degree part of a 360.

To the credit of the Jeep engineers... I continued to work after this crash.
I was heading in to work in a pretty good rain storm. I had the Jeep in 4x4, which means it NEVER loses traction.
I felt something like hydroplaning, so I left off the gas. In an instant the rear end swung around and I was on my way into a 360 spin.
I hit the concrete wall on Beltway 8 approaching Westimer toll booths.
These photos were taken where I take my Jeep when it needs mechanical work, and now body work, FALCON Auto.
