4.56 seems bit extreme, i have those tires on 4.5 in of lift with 3.73 gears and my jeep drives great. i'm sure 4.10 would be the best for that. You dont have to change the rear end, but if you do major rock crawling it will break. my dana 35 has held up fine with my 32 inch swampers and i beat the crap out of it while i'm mudding.
i'm sure your 35 with whatever gearing you decide will be fine. I run 3.55 gears on my 97 XJ on 33's. it only gets 15 mpg though.

For most use, the D35 will hold up. Just need to be sensible with it.

I wouldn't bother gearing from 3.55 to 4.10. There isn't that big of a difference, not enough to warrant almost a grand for the gear and carrier (in the D30) swap. You won't notice the change in tire size all that much driving and the mpg won't be all that much different.

What he said I had 32's with 3:55 and beat the hell out of it with no problems

Might be best to do the tires and see how you like it, if you don't then do the gears.

Yes I had the 4.56 gears with 32 tires and it was a nightmare on highway speeds.

yup no point to regear. I'm at 33's on 3.55 and it isn't too bad. don't even notice until your hauling ass and try to haul even more...
