View Full Version : Steering Box Brace

So to add a little extra protection to my steering I fabbed up a brace. $3.60 at Park Rose Hardware for the U-bolt, about an hour of time, some black spray paint and all is good.

And it did feel a little tighter in the steering, not as much play in the front end.

look good nice job check the u-bolt after some miles or offroading some of the hardware u-bolt are not very hard and strech and loosen up.

U-bolts are cheap and would be easy to replace if it gets stretched out too much anyways... And it definately doesn't hurt to be built not bought!!

built is allways better that way if it needs to be fixed you know how and if you need to change it you can.

Agreed. Thinkin for the money can't beat it, budget is the word.
