2001 4.0 Junk yard/ cheap performance Mods

Hey there, just wondering what some common junkyard and cheap mods were out there for the 4.0. I have a header and a cat back on mine. But want more power. I have heard that you can swap injectors out of a mustang gt into it? Anyone ever just had the head ported or ported out the intake manifold?

Regear if you want more power for cheap, but this will reduce your mpg.
