Next upgrade/mod

Hey XJ perps!

Had a good discussion with some XJtalkers in chat the other day about whats on your list of todo's, maybe something santa's gonna bring you -- or you put under the tree for yourself. Whats next for you guys?

I'm thinking sliders and frame stiffeners. then a locker

Santa has never thought I've been good enough for THOSE kinds of presents under the tree.
But if I were to channel my inner Santa... I'd be bringing me a set of 4.56's F&R, and a winch bumper......

I'm tired of using a gallon of gas to get up to 60 mph. Hopefully, 4.56's will be sooner rather than later. I also wouldn't be too upset if I could find a sweet set of 15" wheels instead of my Moabs.

I've already been notified that once again I am on the naughty list but should that be up graded I would want a set of slider/stiffners from Detours, and a Kevins off road front winch bumper. Since I have already purchased a SigSauer 228, Extra magazines for said Sig, M21tactical rifle/kit, the 2004WJ, 8500W generator, new tools for house building...I am rather doubtful that I will see any packages under the tree :rolleye0012:

Got a set of frame stiffeners sitting around, as well as lower control arm skids that need a few welds. Working on the trans cooler now. Hope to be doing an in cab inverter, but may be put off. Just bought a ZJ V8 tie rod off Anthony,"Showtime3492". I have asked santa for a rustys fuel tank skid:D, and who knows what else might be under the tree Christmas morning. A stroker would be nice.:p:rolleyes:

But for now, i'll be happy if i could just drive it! Oh, and go wheeling.

I'm hoping that on one of my next visits to the local recycling center, the right scrap stainless steel is there for me to build my own front and rear bumpers.

As far as I know, I'm getting A-Pillar lights/mounts for Christmas. Other than that, probably the ZJ tie-rod upgrade that's sitting in the back of my Jeep and the lift that's up at Matt's shop.
