The mud terrains will always look better on a 4X4. But it really boils down to function doesn't it?

DITTO....
The second one is an "all weather" ...not really much of an "all terrain" ....
The fierce attitudes, only come in metric....
If you want something very similar, and that performs extremely well in almost any condition/terrain.....Go with the Goodyear Duratrac's
They're an amazing tire.

Thanks guys!, but i was told today i cannot put the first one on b/c its "Way to dangerous" and i'd wear through them so fast...(Which i think is a bunch of crap but hey) so now i have the option between nitto terra grapplers A/T and toyo open country all terrains. still upset i dont get a beefy look but gotta pick one of those.

Find a different tire store. If they have a DOT number on them, then they are tested and rated for street use

Or just tell your mom you know what you're doing, and you're going to get what ever tire you dang well please.......
LOL....
There's nothing "dangerous" about those tires... unless you drive dangerously.....then it doesnt matter WHAT kind/brand/size of shoes you have on.
But I agree with 4.3LXJ...if thats what you were told by a tire center...then go somewhere else.

BFGs have been known to wear quite well and still give you some mud grip. FYI
