After about eight months my XJ and i were finally reunited yesterday. It was a long day but got it moved to where i'm at now.

Checked the fluids, swiped off some dust (there was a lot), and noticed the interior had begun to mildew (curse the coast). Got the inspection done first (no emissions there) and apparently the thermostat didn't fix the overheating :mad: so we had to quickly find a car hauler. :o

With U-haul in tow and using just about every strap we had she rode fine.

And of course, today i find the a leak from where the upper hose fits on the radiator. Have to get in there to confirm the source. Might just go ahead and replace the radiator since its overheating, plus i have a lifetime warranty on it.:rolleyes:

And, yes. I've already got a to-do list going.:rolleye0012:

Fix overheating
Probably gonna do that radiator
I have that trans cooler i'll probably do at the same time
I also have a new upper radiator hose and heater hose
Been wanting to get a fuel tank skid
Wanted to put on a 2" receiver i had waiting when i do the skid, but it seems to be missing.:confused:
One of my a-pillar lights has some messed up wiring (thinking racoon)
Look at getting the frame stiffeners welded up
Got some lower control arm skids that have been waiting on
Clean it up inside and outside
Got a Xjtalk sticker that will make its way on there
And go from there
Maybe i'll get something for Christmas:D

Thanks! I'm partial to the colors too. I never thought i would but the two tone really has grown on me.

The tape is to protect against rocks/etc. The truck we have to tow it is a dually, and if there's anything to know about duallys is they have a vengeance against anything behind them with glass.:D
