1999 xj factory fogs

Was wondering if anyone has tried putting h3 hid conversions in the factory fog lights on a 1999 cherokee. Not sure If it would work. Would hate to spend the loot to find out hard way.

Haven't seen anyone do it yet in my travels. Would look pretty cool though.
