Drivin around and noticed my oil pressure gauge pinned. I know it don't have 80psi. Keyed off reads zero key on not running it reads 40psi hum. I'm thinking oil pressure sender? Is there more them one under the hood switch/sender, which us it i need? Thanks.

Seems like it's about $25 for a replacement, or free if you break it off before getting the oil changed at Jiffy Lube :rolleye0012:

Either the sending unit or wire is probably shorted to ground. Unplug the wire from the sending unit; if the gauge goes to zero, the sending unit is bad. I would unplug it ASAP. Not good at all for the gauge to be pegged.

This happened to my sisters 00 Grand, ended up being a bad oil pressure switch. We carry them if you need them. Here's a link to them on out website. http://www.1aauto.com/1A/OilPressureSwitch/Jeep/Cherokee?utm_source=XJTalk&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=1ATony
