I have a 96 cherokee that i just installed healla housings with new bulbs and the putco wiring harness upgrade less than a month ago, but my problem is the passenger headlight only works when i turn on my high beams but the other side works perfectly fine. What could the problem be? I need to fix asap because im always driving at night and for now i have to use my fog lights too!
Thank you, Steven

Did it ever work right?

Yeah what Steve said.

It sounds like the wiring is wrong.

Could just be a dodgy bulb. Did you perhaps touch the glass part on that bulb?

Check and make sure it didn't blow. Coulda been a bad bulb.

Pull the plug and use a test light or meter to see if it has power to one space on low and one on high. If not, then it is a wiring problem. But if it does, get another bulb

ok thanks, and i think i remember reading about the relays from the putco wiring harness going bad, could that make highs work but now lows?

If it is a relay it would affect both headlights.

Take a test light and work your way back through the wiring. See if there's power to the socket, if not trace the wire back to where it connects to something else such as a bus, relay, splice etc. and see if that object has power to it.

just work your way through it to you can see at what point the power's failing at.

... how does that particular brand of harness work ...

One relay for both hi-beam and one for both lo-beam .... or one ( hi-beam & lo-beam ) relay per headlamp ?

Did you already swap the bulbs and see if the problem moves with the bulbs? Hmmm may be easier to use the test light.
