Whats the online sources ... same as the parts manual ??

Looking at the 94-96 parts book I have .... the number you have - is for the export model, VM diesel, crank sensor.

The parts book layout is pretty shoddy and confusing to the unitiated too ... :bang:

Item 24 is the last parts diagram reference - and is a screw ... Then it lists all the bits they forgot to draw on the page
.... like the speed sensor, the coolant level sensor, the crank sensor, the TPS, etc.,

I reckon you probably want one of the the first two listed below ... and it wouldnt hurt if you took your old one in - to ensure you get the correct joiner plug and wire length.

- 1 SENSOR, Crankshaft Position
5602 6921 XJZJ w/Manual & Automatic Transmissions
5602 7865 XJ 4.0L Engine, with Sales Code XCY
5602 6882 YJ,XJ 2.5 Eng.
5602 7611 2.5L Turbo Diesel
5602 7280 YJ Auto. Trans.
5602 7280 ZJ 4.0 Eng., 42RE Elec. Shift Trans.
5602 7272 ZJ 318 Eng

The part no. you need is 56026882 and it's for a '93-'96 4.0 XJ manual or automatic.
