1999 Cherokee heater issue

Picked up a few days ago what is now my 4th jeep. And yet I've never experienced this problem yet but, warming up my truck on the driveway engine comes up to temp and the heater blows cold yet when I drive away the heat comes up perfectly. Fluids are fine no leaks running 210 is about rite. Any thoughts. It's a bit different then my 95' slightly.

I would suggest checking your water pump. They have plastic impellers that can wear out and cause a lack of pressure. I think they are partially worn out and need higher speed to get the needed circulation.

Sounds logical. If its the same as my 95' last time I changed that one it wasn't plastic. Definitely metal blades

Wifey's TJ was the same,.. it was low on coolant :)
