Bump Stops?

Good Morning All, Two easy questions,
1. How hard would it be to replace missing front bump stops on my '99
Cherokee.
2. Quardratec's new catalog has something called a Trail D vise. Has anyone used it. Is a toy or is it really functional.

Used wrong search term bumpER stop didn't return anything . bump stop was much better.
By the way this is my daily driver.Nothing fancy all stock,maintenance and repair.

It's kind of a pain in the ass. You have to compress the coil. Strut compressor tool from Oreily's. I'd remove the coil. I used some long daystar bump stops.

They just unscrew. You can use a pipe wrench on them. Then screw in the new ones. It helps to let the coils unload completely to give more space to work

As for the vise, It looks OK to me. It has pipe jaws, which can be nice for working on drivelines. You can see more images here.

I'll let the bump stop wait till warm weather. Maybe the vise will be for Christmas. Thanks again for the info. I gotta tell you'll guys. Youse are the greatest.
