righto then...planning a trip to tx at the begging of august next year ,,maybe earlier will see how wet our winter is..i know its the hottest time there but just works in with work over here....tx will be the base as there a few i want to meet there,,,,
the plan is jim and i will rent a car and do a road trip....jim is one of the more mature ones on xj so think i shall be safe:pray:..(I'm going to jail aren't i )

anyways we want to do some wheeling and meet people.....who whats a visit and keen to take us for a wheel...

Yep me and Wayne what to wheel across the country. Who is willing to put us up in there house and take us wheeling? Please keep in mind we will be in a rental car so we can only go so far. After the rental is totaled we will need a XJ to take us the rest of the way ;)

Just an idea....but have you guys thought about buying a cheap car and then reselling it after the trip is over? I know they did this on an episode of Top Gear. It would take a little planning, but since you've got a while before the trip, might be worth taking a look at.
